Since 2009, there have been many opportunities to do voluntary work in partner projects of Ananse e.V. in the context of the „weltwärts“ programme.
Weltwärts is a voluntary service related to development policy of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The stay abroad is supported by the Ministry. The sending organisation in charge prepares the volunteers for their assignment and also accompanies them before and after the stay abroad.
At the moment there are three jobs:
- Bei Hand in Hand in Nkoranza (Ghana) is looking for two volunteers who work in a garage or for the organisation of the education programme for about a year.
- In Sikri, Kenia volunteers can work in a training centre for young people with hearing or visual impairment.
Ananse cooperates with the association bezev (link) from Essen to realise the application and concrete preparation. Bezev has years of experience preparing and accompanying volunteers in development projects especially for people with disabilities.
Those who want to apply for one of the „weltwärts“- jobs described, contact directly the association bezev.
